The variety is the result of an induced mutation of the original «Reagan» variety through gamma irradiation. The plant belongs to photoperiodically sensitive crops, whose flowering is induced by a short light day; under experimental conditions, this occurs in approximately 85–86 days.
The plant is of medium size with stems of medium thickness and white inflorescences that possess good keeping quality when cut. The variety is considered productive and is capable of producing a large number of inflorescences, which makes it sought after in commercial floriculture and a progenitor of a series of color mutants.
