The Avalon series belongs to the chrysanthemum multiflora group, which is capable of independently forming a dense spherical bush without additional pinching. The height of plants in this series usually varies from 30 to 50 cm; they are distinguished by dense branching and a compact structure.

Mass flowering occurs in the period from September to November, during which the inflorescences often completely hide the foliage. Plants of the group demonstrate resistance to prolonged rain and the first light frosts. The series includes various color variations, such as Avalon Purple, Violet, Pink, Orange and Cream.
