The Breeze Cassis variety type is a pot chrysanthemum which, depending on growing conditions, can reach a height of 20 to 80 cm. The plant forms inflorescences with a diameter of 7.5 to 10 cm, distinguished by the characteristic violet-purple color of the petals and a greenish center.

The name Cassis is often only part of the trade name of the hybrid within the Breeze series, and not the full name of the variety. This name is also used for varieties of other botanical species, such as dahlia (Dahlia Crème de Cassis) and yarrow (Achillea millefolium Cassis).
