The variety is an anemone-type spray chrysanthemum intended for commercial cut flower production. The plant is characterized by light yellow or cream ray and disc florets. Stability of morphological traits is maintained during vegetative propagation by cuttings.

Compared to the parent variety Daymark, Cream Daymark has a more compact habit, less vegetative mass, and shorter height when grown under identical conditions. Data on resistance to diseases or lodging are not presented in the official documentation.
