The variety is intended for use in commercial floriculture and cut flower production. It belongs to a breeding line within which forms with various color variations of inflorescences have been identified.

During breeding work based on the original variety, a spontaneous mutation Dekbretagne Splendid was discovered. This variety is characterized by the presence of double semi-double inflorescences of medium size with purple coloration, the petals of which have a spatulate or ligulate shape.
