The variety Dekyen is a professional chrysanthemum breeding variety. According to international guidelines for the conduct of tests for distinctness, uniformity and stability, the plant belongs to the category of tall varieties and has a non-branching growth type.

In official documentation, the variety is used as a reference when conducting morphological descriptions of chrysanthemums. There is also a variety Dekyen Grande related to this breeding line.
