The Deliolive variety is a tall, non-bushy plant intended for use as a cut flower crop. The leaves are short and narrow, with a dark green upper side.

The double-type inflorescences have a small flower diameter. Ray florets are densely arranged in the inflorescence, and their main color corresponds to code 145A on the RHS scale. The natural flowering period occurs in October–November, and the growth cycle under controlled photoperiod is 8.5 weeks.

The variety is used as a control sample for the registration of other chrysanthemum varieties due to the stability of its morphological traits.
