The variety belongs to cut chrysanthemums used in commercial floriculture, including for the production of microsanthemums. The reaction group of the variety is characterized by a flowering period duration of 6.5 weeks under controlled photoperiod.

DLFYIN1 serves as the initial genetic form from which other mutant varieties of the series have been derived, including DLFYIN3, DLFYIN2, DLFYIN9, and DLFYINX1. The variety has white flower color and is not identical to the variety Deligreen.
