In the industry, the name Jeanny denotes a group of varieties that differ in inflorescence color. Plants belong to the Santini type and are characterized by pompon-shaped double inflorescences with a diameter of 2.5 to 6 cm and a height of 50 to 100 cm, depending on growing conditions.
The variety possesses sturdy stems and dense foliage. In cut form, it retains freshness for 10–12 days. In temperate climates in the open field, winter hardiness is limited, which is why the variety is often grown as a pot plant or an annual.
