The Molfetta Orange variety belongs to the multiflora group. The inflorescences are double, pompon-type, 3.5–5 cm in diameter, and bright orange in color; in partial bloom, the center of the inflorescence may acquire a more intense pale-orange shade.
The plant has a genetically determined perfect globe shape, reaching a height of 40–60 cm. Flowering occurs from August to September. The flowers have a tart aroma.
The variety is intended for landscape design, flower bed arrangement, and cultivation in containers and planters. The winter hardiness of the variety is limited, which is why it is often cultivated as an annual or container plant requiring protection during the winter period.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
