In commercial nursery catalogs, chrysanthemums named «Моника» are described as hardy Korean varieties with a height of 55–60 cm and a flower diameter of 6.5–7 cm. There is also a mention of the variety «Моника» in the category of «santini» type chrysanthemums.

It should be noted that the name «Моника» is often erroneously associated with this crop, while it belongs to a well-known hybrid tea rose variety. There is also a crown daisy (Chrysanthemum coronarium) variety with a similar name «Санта Моника», which is a separate crop.
