Reagan group plants are medium-tall, reaching a height of 50–80 cm. Inflorescences with a diameter of 6–8 cm have a daisy-like shape and can be both single and double. Flower color is diverse and includes white, pink, orange, yellow, and bronze colors.

Flowering of varieties in this group occurs in late summer and autumn months. Depending on the type, Reagan varieties can belong to Korean chrysanthemums adapted to open field, or to Indian spray varieties requiring special growing conditions.
