The commercial cut flower variety Rumba is a plant with pink, flat, pompon-shaped inflorescences 38–48 mm in diameter. The plant is distinguished by excellent tolerance to low night temperatures during bud development; the photoperiodic response time to short days is 55–68 days.
The decorative garden variety Rhumba is intended for flower beds and containers. It forms a compact, cushion-shaped bush and has daisy-like inflorescences about 5 cm in size. The flower color changes from dark red buds to coral-red petals, which over time acquire a coral-peach hue.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
