The chrysanthemum variety "Sea Foam" appears in scientific publications dedicated to the study of plant resistance to pests. During the studies, it was noted that the foliage of this variety is subjected to less damage by leafminer larvae (Liriomyza sativae) compared to the "Iceberg" variety.

Detailed morphological characteristics, such as plant height, maturity group, or product quality standards, are not publicly available for this variety. Varieties of other botanical species, including Tiarella, rose, statice, and Thelesperma, are also registered under the name "Sea Foam".
