The variety is the result of a breeding program to identify color mutations of the original Sizzleness variety. It is a cut flower crop intended for commercial floriculture.

The plant has a photoperiodic growth cycle of approximately 47 days after the long-day period under commercial greenhouse cultivation. The uniqueness and stability of the traits are confirmed by variety registration procedures.
