The original patented Splash variety is a spider chrysanthemum with white ray florets, adapted for year-round cultivation for cut flowers.

The modern group of Splash series varieties includes low-growing bedding and potted plants with a height of 10 to 55 cm. They are characterized by an unusual petal shape, including needle-like and quilled variants, and the inflorescence color can be solid green or bicolored, for example, yellow-red.

Flowering of these varieties occurs in August–October. The plants are characterized by compactness, lodging resistance, and are suitable for cultivation in open field in climate zones 6–7, provided they are covered during the cold period.
