Westland group varieties are used as a cut crop and for landscape design compositions. The plants form double flowers of needle-shaped or spider-like form, the diameter of which varies from 12 to 20 cm. The coloring of the inflorescences includes lilac, purple, and bronze tones.

The height of the bush ranges from 35 to 80 cm depending on growing conditions. Flowering occurs in the period from September to November. The varieties prefer sunny areas with loose, fertile soil and require covering when grown in open field during the winter period.
