The variety is intended for year-round pot production. The plant is characterized as having a short to medium height. It belongs to the 8-week response group, which means a period of 8 weeks from the start of short-day conditions to flowering.

The inflorescence type is double, decorative. Flower color varies: outer ray florets are white with a bluish-pink hue, while inner florets have a darker bluish-pink color. Ray florets are short to medium in length, concave in cross-section. The variety possesses uniform growth and a long vase life.

There are varietal mutations, including «Dazzling Yonew York» and the «Bold Yonew York» variety.
