The variety belongs to the spray type and is used in ornamental floriculture. It is also found in trade under the name Sunny Shasta, with the Sunny Yoshasta variant selected as a spontaneous mutation of the original variety.

Morphologically, the plant is described as having a short to medium height. The number of primary lateral shoots varies from small to medium.
