The rootstock is characterized by fast and uniform germination, as well as the formation of a short and strong hypocotyl. Its diameter corresponds to that of the scion, which allows for simultaneous sowing of the rootstock and scion and simplifies the grafting process.

Under field conditions, the plant forms a vigorous root system and ensures continuous productivity. The use of this rootstock contributes to an increase in sugar levels in watermelon fruits and an improvement in their taste qualities.

The plant possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by races 1 and 2 of the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum, and also demonstrates resistance to nematodes.
