The hybrid is early-maturing; the ripening period is 60–65 days from seedling transplanting. The plant possesses high growth vigor; the stems are long and well-foliated. The fruits have a round-oval shape and a striped, dense, thick rind.
The fruit flesh is deep red, crispy, and uniform; the sugar content is 7–11%. The fruits contain a small number of small seeds. The hybrid is resistant to major melon and gourd diseases and is relatively drought-tolerant.
The purpose of the variety is for fresh market sales, and the fruits are also suitable for pickling and processing. Due to the durable rind, they possess excellent transportability and can be stored for up to 2 months.
