The fruits of this hybrid reach a mass of 3–4 kg. The plant possesses intermediate resistance to powdery mildew, Fusarium wilt, and several other diseases.

The name Bumble Bee is also widely used for a series of cherry tomato varieties, which may lead to confusion when searching for seeds of this watermelon variety.
