The hybrid Karnakata F1 is a mid-early crop with strong vines and good foliage, which protects the fruits from the impact of sunlight. The plant is intended for cultivation in open field conditions.

The fruits have an oval shape and are characterized by a firm rind of optimal thickness, which ensures good transportability over long distances. The fruit flesh is crisp, of a rich red color, with a sugar content of about 12%.

The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. niveum, code Fon) and anthracnose (Colletotrichum lagenarium, code Co).
