Maddalena F1 belongs to early hybrids with a ripening period of about 70 days after transplanting. The plant possesses high growth vigor, excellent fruit set, and good foliage coverage, which protects the fruits from sunburn.

The oval-elongated fruits weigh 11–14 kg and retain a bright green rind color for a long time after harvest. The flesh is intensely red, firm, and crispy, contains small seeds, and is distinguished by a high sugar level.

The hybrid is noted for fruit uniformity, high keeping quality, and suitability for transportation, which allows it to be used for both the domestic market and export.
