Variety description

The variety is a small evergreen tree or shrub with a spherical crown, usually spineless. Under natural conditions, the plant height varies from 1 to 5 meters. The leaves are dark green, glossy, and distinguished by a larger and more rounded size compared to other kumquat species.
The fruits have an oval or broadly ovoid shape, sometimes with a depressed apex. The rind is thin and sweet, while the orange-colored pulp has a sour taste and contains seeds. The tree is capable of repeated flowering and fruiting throughout the year; fruit ripening occurs from November to spring.
The plant tolerates temperature drops down to -8°C...-10°C. It is used as a fruit and ornamental plant for landscaping or cultivation in pots.
