The tree is evergreen, compact, and branching, with almost no thorns. The leaves are dense, dark green, and glossy. The height of mature plants in open field reaches 2–3 meters; with pot cultivation, the size is limited by pruning. The flowers are white, often with a purple or bluish tint, and have an intense aroma.
The fruits are round, weighing 70–150 grams, with smooth thin skin that turns yellow or orange upon full maturity. The flesh is juicy and tender, less acidic compared to classic lemons. The variety is remontant, flowering and fruiting throughout the year, starting from the second or third year after propagation by cuttings.
The plant possesses increased cold hardiness relative to other lemons and adapts well to indoor conditions. There is a virus-free form known as the "Improved Meyer lemon," which replaced the original populations after the spread of viral diseases in the 1960s.
