The tree reaches 2.5–3 m in height in the open field, while growth is limited to 1–1.8 m in containers. The crown is compact, rounded or oval, densely foliated, and the branches are thornless. Leaves are small, narrow, dark green, and glossy. The variety exhibits slow growth in the nursery and enters the fruiting stage late.
Fruits ripen from November to January, have an oblate shape and thin orange or reddish-orange rind, with a mass varying from 15 to 120 g. The variety is resistant to citrus tristeza virus and exocortis, but is sensitive to Phytophthora, root asphyxia under waterlogging, and infestation by citrus nematodes.
