Variety description

The variety is a hybrid, presumably obtained as a result of crossing C. lanuginosa and C. patens. The plant forms a dense shrub with shoots 2–3 meters in height. The flowers reach 10–14 cm in diameter, and their color can vary from dark purple to lighter shades.
Flowering is prolonged, from May or June to August or September, and occurs in two waves: the first is characterized by double flowers on the previous year's shoots, the second can be represented by single flowers. The variety is hardy, recommended for USDA hardiness zones 3–9 and belongs to the late large-flowered clematis group.
