Variety description

The plant forms a dense, mounded habit 20–35 cm tall and 30–50 cm wide. A distinctive feature is the fine, fern-like golden-chartreuse foliage, which retains its decorative quality throughout the season.
Pinkish-red flowers with a golden center appear from June to September. The crop prefers open, sunny sites and well-drained soils, exhibiting drought tolerance once established. Resistance to powdery mildew is characterized as medium.
Winter hardiness of the variety is limited to USDA zones 9–10, which is why the plant is grown as an annual in regions with cold climates. The variety is used in landscape design for creating mass plantings, bordering the foreground of beds, and for container cultivation.
