The plant reaches approximately 1 meter in height and width. The crop is drought tolerant after establishment, tolerates light frosts, and is capable of growing in both full sun and partial shade, adapting to sandy, clay, or loamy soils.
Flowering occurs during the autumn-winter period. The shrub is suitable for cultivation in containers or as an accent plant in gardens, and attracts birds. Care involves moderate pruning after flowering is completed.
