The plant belongs to the species Cosmos bipinnatus. The variety reaches a height of about 100 cm and forms large capitulum inflorescences, the petals of which have a pink-purple color with a dark carmine center.
The variety is intended for use in ornamental group plantings and as a cut flower crop. The species as a whole prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils.
