Variety description

The variety has low vigor, reaching a height of about 0.5 m and a width of 1–1.5 m. The leaves are small, glossy, and dark green, turning an intense orange or red-orange tone in autumn. The shoots are arranged almost horizontally.
Flowering occurs in May–June with small white-pink melliferous flowers. The fruits are small red berries that ripen in late summer and early autumn, often remaining on the branches during the winter period.
The shrub is characterized by high tolerance to soil types, including sandy loam and clay. The plant overwinters well and is rarely damaged by pests and diseases. It is used as a groundcover plant for plantings in rock gardens, on slopes, and on retaining walls.
