The leaves of the «Frodo» variety are spatulate in shape, reach a size of 7.5–10 cm, and are distinguished by a gray-green color with a pronounced reddish border along the edges. The main morphological difference from the typical species is the pointed leaf tip.

The plant is grown as a decorative indoor crop. The variety has no agronomic indicators characteristic of field or vegetable crops and is positioned as a collector's specimen.
