The plant has dark green leaves. In botanical protocols, the variety «Magical» is used as a standard for comparing morphological traits, including leaf shape, type of leaf attachment, and stem color.

Scientific literature has recorded the susceptibility of this variety to Fusarium wilt, caused by the fungus Fusarium oxysporum. The plant is not an agricultural crop and does not possess characteristics of yield or lodging resistance.
