Variety description

The variety is a selection from Crinodendron hookerianum «Ada Hoffmann» seedlings. The plant has glossy dark green foliage and characteristic white flowers resembling inverted tulips or lanterns.
The flowering period lasts from April to June, sometimes continuing into the autumn. The variety is characterized as slow-growing and resistant to diseases and pests. Suitable for cultivation in open field in regions with a mild climate or in containers.
The winter hardiness of the variety is estimated as low; the plant withstands temperature drops down to -10°C, therefore requiring protection in cold climates.
