The variety Cloud Brocade is a garden form of Ctenanthe oppenheimiana and is used for interior landscaping. The leaves of the plant are decorated with silvery-white spots resembling clouds, while their underside is colored in a distinct wine-red or purple color.
The plant possesses the property of nocturnal leaf movement, during which they fold into a vertical position. The crop is heat-loving and prefers diffused lighting and high air humidity.
