Variety description

The Amagris variety is a cultivar of the species Ctenanthe burle-marxii, which originated from a spontaneous natural mutation. The plant has the form of a compact bush about 30 cm tall, capable of spreading up to 50 cm in width.
The oval velvety leaves are colored silvery-gray with narrow light green veins; the underside of the leaf has a rich purple-burgundy shade. The plant is characterized by a slow growth rate and the ability to raise its leaves upward during dark hours.
