The hybrid has high resistance (HR) to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis, races 0, 1, 2). Intermediate resistance (IR) is noted to powdery mildew (Podosphaeria xanthii, races 1, 2, 3, 3-5, 5) and to melon aphid (Aphis gossypii, presence of the VAT gene).
