Melon Gossip F1 belongs to the Charentais type. The plant is characterized as rustic and vigorous, suitable for various farming systems, including open field.

The hybrid possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2). Intermediate resistance is noted to powdery mildew (races 1, 2, 5), melon aphid, and certain other pathogens.
