Fruits of the Mc Laren variety have a slightly oval shape and are characterized by uniformity and a pronounced aroma. The interior of the fruit is distinguished by a very small seed cavity and light green flesh.

The variety possesses intermediate resistance to melon necrotic spot virus and Fusarium wilt races 0, 1 and 2. Good resistance to infestation by leaf miner flies of the genus Liriomyza has also been noted.

This variety is a table type and is intended for industrial cultivation for the purpose of obtaining high-quality marketable produce.
