The variety Sienne F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of the Charentais type (Cucumis melo L. var. cantalupensis). The plant is intended for commercial production and cultivation in greenhouse conditions.
In agricultural practice, the variety is used as an intermediate link (interstock) when grafting melons, particularly those of the 'Piel de Sapo' type. The use of this variety as a rootstock contributes to improving compatibility with cucurbit rootstocks, optimizing the uptake of water and nutrients, and increasing the marketable quality of the yield.
