The Tofee F1 hybrid belongs to the cantaloupe cultivar group. The fruits have a regular size and a semi-netted surface, the distinctive feature of which is clearly defined blue-green grooves. The fruit flesh has a firm consistency, a pronounced aroma, and good keeping quality.
The plant has high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1). Intermediate resistance is recorded to powdery mildew caused by Golovinomyces cichoracearum and Podosphaeria xanthii (races 1, 2, 3, 5), as well as to melon aphid.
