The Turan F1 melon hybrid belongs to the Harper type. The fruits have an oval shape, the surface is completely covered with a netting, and there are no sutures. The flesh is orange in color and is characterized by very high density. The fruits are classified by sizes 9, "jumbo 9" and 12.
The plant possesses high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1) and intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (races 1, 2) and aphids. The hybrid is intended for industrial vegetable production and is adapted to the corresponding climatic conditions.
