Vivace is a rootstock for melon crops. Its main purpose is for grafting varietal melons to improve plant health and productivity under conditions of soil fatigue and the risk of Fusarium wilt.
The rootstock has high resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2) and resistance or tolerance to powdery mildew and Fusarium wilt (race 1.2). The use of Vivace provides the scion with high growth vigor, early crop maturity, and a balance between plant development and fruit setting. Suitable for cultivation in protected ground, tunnel covers, and open field.
