Variety description

The fruits have an ellipsoidal shape and change their skin color from green to orange as they ripen. The surface is covered with cone-shaped spines. The pulp is green, has a mucilaginous consistency and contains a large number of seeds.
The plant is characterized by rapid growth. Seedlings are planted in the open field at the beginning of May following a planting pattern, for example, 60 cm between rows and 40 cm between plants. The fruits are rich in phenolic compounds, flavonoids and chlorophyll, which determines their antioxidant activity.
