Addison RZ F1 belongs to the long Dutch cucumber group. The plant is of the generative type with strong growth and an open habit; the leaves have a light green color. The variety is characterized by early fruit set and intense fruit setting.
The fruits are medium-sized, well-filled, uniform, with slight ribbing. The plants are resistant to “head burn”. The variety is intended for protected cultivation; it is recommended for growing on a high trellis with lowering and for autumn production cycles on substrate.
The hybrid possesses high resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum and powdery mildew. Intermediate resistance is noted to Cucumber green mottle mosaic virus, Cucumber mosaic virus, and Cucumber vein yellowing virus.
