The ALBERO hybrid belongs to the Dutch type of cucumbers. The variety was developed using Spanish breeding genetics and is intended for modern professional agriculture, ensuring productivity and uniformity of fruits.

The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, anthracnose, and cucumber vein yellowing virus. Intermediate resistance (IR) is also noted to beet pseudo-yellows virus, zucchini yellow mosaic virus, cucumber mosaic virus, and cucumber green mottle mosaic virus.
