Arktika F1 (also Arena F1) is a vigorous plant with short internodes and a predominantly female flowering type, forming 2–3 ovaries per node. The fruits are characterized by a light green color and a finely tuberculate surface with small spines. The length of the cucumbers reaches 10–14 cm with a diameter of up to 3.5 cm.
The hybrid is resistant to temperature fluctuations and low temperatures. Resistance is claimed for tobacco mosaic virus, Fusarium, downy mildew, as well as partial resistance to aphids and spider mites. The crop is suitable for cultivation in open field, film shelters, and greenhouses, including two-cycle cultivation.
