The BAKLAN F1 hybrid is intended for fresh market consumption and processing. The balanced-type plant has short internodes and rapidly develops vegetative mass.
The period from emergence to fruiting is from 35 to 55 days depending on the growing season. The dark green fruits contain no bitterness and have a traditional taste.
The variety has high resistance to powdery mildew, Cladosporium cucumerinum, and cucumber mosaic virus.
