The variety belongs to the category of cucumbers that can be used for fresh consumption or processing. It is not a commercial hybrid, but acts as a model object in biological research due to its predictable reaction to external factors.

The plant is susceptible to cucumber mosaic virus, zucchini yellow mosaic virus, and powdery mildew, because of which it is often used as a control sample when studying reactions to pathogens. In field trials, the variety demonstrated high yield in the winter season under film shelters.
